Back in 1989...you were working for Waldrop's, living your life that no longer included me but I used to drive by when you'd get off work so I could get a glimpse of you walking to your truck. I occasionally got brave enough to put little notes inside for you. One such note said this...
"Baby, I'm yours. I love you always. I'm gonna stand by you until the end of time. Remember all of the good things that we shared together. Signed, Love, Nannie 1989."
I got those words from a song that I heard and loved back then by John Anderson... "1959." I would play that song over and over and over because for some reason it made me think of you and us.
So I tend to remember that song and you together. Finding you here, having made me more than a little sentimental, and for other reasons I just can't say, I thought I'd send you that song, (Your song.) and the words I wrote so many years ago that still ring so true to my ears. Enjoy Glenn.
